Frequently Asked Questions
General & How We Work
-
We keep things lean, transparent and human. Instead of layers of account management, complicated retainers and marketing jargon, you work directly with the person doing the work. Our subscriptions give SMEs a clear level of ongoing marketing support for a predictable monthly fee, without unnecessary agency complexity.
-
For many SMEs, yes. Hiring in-house means taking on salary, employer costs, equipment, software, recruitment and the commitment of another permanent role. A marketiered subscription gives you ongoing marketing strategy and execution without taking on the overhead of building an internal marketing function. You get the support you need without hiring before you’re ready.

No. marketiered is based in Leicester, but we work with SMEs across the UK. Most strategy, planning, reporting and day-to-day marketing can be handled remotely. Where on-site content is needed, we'll agree the practicalities and any travel costs beforehand.
-
No. Great marketing doesn’t stem from AI. We’re all for efficiency and use technology where necessary, but AI can’t replicate human creativity. The thinking, direction and final output stay human-led.
Services & Deliverables
-
If your strategy needs something outside your subscription, such as specialist software, paid advertising, printing or creator compensation, we’ll make the cost clear before anything is committed. Wherever possible, client-specific software accounts are owned and paid for directly by your business, with marketiered given the access needed to manage them. Third-party costs are kept separate from your subscription, so you always know what you're paying for.
-
That depends on where your audience actually is. We can support platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok and others where they make sense for your business. We won't put you on another platform just for the sake of it. More channels doesn’t always translate to more leads.
-
We keep communication straightforward. You’ll have a shared client workspace for tasks, assets, approvals and updates, alongside email for anything that needs a quick response. Depending on your subscription, we’ll also meet monthly or fortnightly to review progress, results and what’s coming next.
-
Yes. Monthly on-site content shoots within Leicester and our standard local service area are included in Momentum and Impact. If a shoot takes us further afield, any additional travel costs will be agreed with you beforehand — no surprise charges afterwards.
-
We'll need access to the accounts we're managing, your existing brand assets and enough input from you to understand the business properly. We'll do the marketing work, but the best results come when approvals, information and feedback don't disappear into a black hole.
Billing & Getting Started
-
No long-term lock-ins. Our subscriptions start with a three-month minimum term so we have enough time to properly get things moving. After that, they roll monthly. If your needs change, you can move between tiers or cancel in line with the notice period set out in your agreement.
-
Yes. If your marketing needs change, your level of support can change with them. We can move you up or down a tier in line with the terms of your agreement — no awkward sales pitch required.
-
Monthly subscription payments are collected securely by Direct Debit through GoCardless. Your payment schedule will be confirmed during onboarding, and you'll receive the appropriate invoice or payment record for your accounts. Any agreed third-party or one-off costs are shown separately, so your billing stays clear.
-
Once we've agreed the right subscription and your first payment is set up, we'll begin onboarding. You'll receive access to your client workspace, we'll collect the brand assets and account access we need, and we'll book your kickoff session so we can get your first month moving properly.
-
It’s yours. The original work we create specifically for your business stays with you if you leave. If anything we use is subject to a third-party licence, such as stock assets, fonts, music or creator content, we’ll make that clear from the start.
